His work feeds directly into the team&#8217;s strategic and on-field decisions, from player recruitment to auction planning. Before cricket, he spent several years at Opta and StatsBomb, two of the leading names in sports analytics, working across soccer, cricket, rugby and American football &#8211; including a spell as Head of American Football Research at StatsBomb. His route into sport was unconventional.
