Ben Sanders is Vice President of Platform Architecture & Field Technology at Teradata and recently built out the company’s first Field CTO organisation. He spends much of his time with customers, helping them turn business problems into working data and AI solutions, then bringing their feedback back to shape what Teradata builds. Ben also leads Teradata’s Demo and Benchmark Centres of Excellence, guiding customers from idea to demo, proof of concept and finally production. That journey gives him a front-row view of why so many AI initiatives stall before production, and he works closely with Teradata’s product organisation to build offerings that simplify the path.

Prior to his current role, his background is in cloud architecture, where he helped organisations navigate their moderniation to the cloud. He brings a practitioner’s perspective, grounded in real customer deployments rather than theory.
