Lydia Leads a Data Science team at Google DeepMind, using data to improve GDMs results.

Prior to joining Google DeepMind, Lydia was Head of Analytics at Stuart, where she merged 4 data science teams into one team to optimise food delivery. Lydia has over a decade of experience connecting data with business results across last mile delivery (Ocado, Stuart), technology (Meta) and satellites to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GHGSat).

Beyond her role at Google DeepMind, Lydia is a director of the Stemettes, who inspire and support young women in STEM and volunteers with DataKind who help charities, local government, and social enterprises to use data. Lydia loves sharing her data knowledge teaching data science to university students with Exactimo.
