Tristan Burns is a data leadership coach and consultant who helps Heads of Data, VPs and Directors of Data connect their teams’ work to commercial outcomes and strategic influence. Over 15+ years he has led data functions across oil and gas, banking and technology, most recently as Global Head of Data & Analytics at Pizza Hut’s Digital Ventures. Since 2022 he has coached data leaders and teams across the UK, Europe and North America, helping them move data upstream into business strategy.

He holds a Master’s in Applied Finance and is recognised under the UK’s Global Talent route for his contribution to tech. Tristan speaks regularly at data events and on data podcasts, posts daily to an audience of 23,000+, and is currently writing his first book on data leadership.
