Speaker profile
A true example of a squiggly path into data, Vicky began her career in the commercial property industry, running events for global workplace leaders, architects, and consultants. She later went on to lead business development for the UK team of a global furniture brand, delivering major projects in some of London’s most iconic buildings.
After more than ten years in the built environment sector, she left London for the North West was and keen for a career change. Vicky then entered the data world, leading business development for a boutique data consultancy, working with clients across data strategy and culture, engineering and enablement, through to analytics and AI.
While her company had strong gender parity, the same could not be said for the industry as a whole, and Vicky began her engagement with Women in Data®. Inspired by the dynamic, impactful events and the power of the community, she initially joined as a volunteer.
She is delighted to now be part of the team, supporting partners as they drive change, improve gender parity, and demonstrate that Women in Data® is a powerful place to do business.
Her superpower is remaining positive in almost all situations, but she remains rubbish at all sports and still can’t speak Spanish.
