Joseph Michael Daniels is a world-leading sustainable technologist, innovator, and entrepreneur.

By the age of 30, Joseph had already delivered the first net zero connected buildings across four continents, raising over £40 million to fund pioneering sustainable infrastructure. His determination to redefine what is possible in technology and sustainability is deeply rooted in his own journey, having experienced homelessness at just 15.

Joseph’s work has been recognised globally. He has been accoladed by the United Nations in its 75th Anniversary book, his life story was awarded Best Documentary Film at the London Film Awards in partnership with Barclays, and he has been featured across major media including Forbes 30 Under 30, CNBC, and Bloomberg.

In 2022, Joseph transitioned from his original founding ventures to establish Elixr, a next-generation smart nations ecosystem builder, aligning its Planet 2030 vision with the domain Planet.Earth to empower social impact and sustainability entrepreneurs worldwide. Through Elixr, he has co-founded and developed transformative technologies including:

*   ArcLive – a data and energy smart-cities sensor platform enabling green finance,
*   Senze – a digital twin retrofit and decarbonisation solution,
*   MetaConnex – a 4D planning and finance platform for smart cities,
*   LIVAC – the future of HVAC technology,
*   Ignisium – recycled glass building materials,
*   Steps – an innovative regeneration financing vehicle.

Beyond his ventures, Joseph serves as Co-Founder and Vice President of the Live Data Trust, is on the UK Business Council for Sustainable Development, and acts as Special Advisor to Sintali (the World Bank’s green building accreditation partner). He also advises the UK Government’s Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) on its Construct Zero program, and is currently working with the Department for Business and Trade on rare earth technologies.
