Sarah has over 20 years’ experience of healthcare data and analysis. She is passionate about promoting lifelong learning. Sarah leads on the professionalisation of data and analytics workstream across Health and Care.

Sarah leads on the development and national roll out of the National Competency Framework for data professions. She is co-creater of the AnalystX community of 16,000 data professionals, where she is the work stream lead for Workforce Professionalisation and Learning.

Recently launched in April 2025 Sarah is lead for the NHS Data and Analytics Academy. The academy a free online resource that provides access to analytical and technical training to help data professionals broaden their skill base.
