Chris Williams has been CIO at Community Fibre since November 2021, driving a substantial and rapid IT Transformation. Chris is a graduate of St Mary Redcliffe and Temple School in Bristol and Plymouth University.  Chris started his career with Prudential Assurance in HR before joining Orange in 2000 as a Business Consultant.  Chris stayed with Orange which became EE following the merger with T-Mobile and was subsequently acquired by BT for 22 years.  During this time, Chris performed various roles including Business Partner, Head of Tools and Technology, Director of Service Management, Direct of Customer Experience and Technology Director for Sales and Service.

Chris has also had a number of external appointments during this time including a Director for ITSMF, Board Member for OpenRoads, a global digital transformation organisation and a Board member for Petroc College in Devon.
