A Top 100 Global Influencer in Technology (LEAP) and previously the Digital Ambassador of the Year (Computing), David is a film-maker and podcaster. An experienced conference chair and moderator, he brings sharp insight and a no-nonsense approach to dissecting technology’s biggest challenges and opportunities.

Since launching in 2015, ‘Tech Talks’ has published over 900 episodes and become a global hit with listeners as one of the world’s leading technology podcasts, regularly appearing on the Apple’s Technology Podcast charts. ‘Tech Flix’ evolved out of the stories discovered on the podcast, with 6 documentaries published to date being screened at tech festivals and alongside world-leading brands and institutions such as NASA, Web Summit and Columbia University (in New York).

David has been with Harvey Nash since 2007, developing a deep understanding of the technology and talent markets. He was invited to become a member of the IADAS in 2025, and is a judge for the Lovie Awards. He has spoken at major global events including Web Summit, Collision, IFA Berlin, TechBBQ, London Tech Week, Web Summit Rio, Unleash World, Unleash Paris, Unbound, Big Data World, and Viva Tech.
