Harvey leads AI transformation and thought leadership in the Consulting service line at EY.

With a background in AI, rocket science and consulting, Harvey has dedicated over three decades to helping clients innovate and apply data science and AI. He brings a unique blend of technical knowledge and strategic vision to teams, projects, and enterprises aiming to harness the power of their data and AI.

Harvey writes, speaks and advises on emerging technologies not just to share knowledge but also to ignite conversations and inspire action. He won the 2017 MCA Award for the best use of thought leadership and was also a finalist in the 2025 MCA Awards.

Harvey is a former member of techUK’s Leadership Committee on Analytics and AI, the Open Data User Group, the Public Sector Transparency Board, and the Advisory Committee to the All-Party Parliamentary Group on AI. He was a member of the editorial board for the Real World Data Science platform for the Royal Statistical Society and has served as an Honorary Senior Visiting Fellow at The Bayes Business School in London.

Harvey has a PhD in Hypersonic Aerodynamics and a BEng (Hons) in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the University of Southampton.

When not pushing the boundaries of AI and emerging technologies, Harvey enjoys life with his wife and sons in the South Downs National Park.
