Ian Massingham is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in cloud computing, data technology, startups, and developer relations. He is currently Head of Developer Relations & Developer Experience at Griptape. Griptape is a startup that is focused on making generative AI accessible to artists, VFX professionals and video games developers through their product, Griptape Nodes.

Before joining Griptape, Ian was VP Developer Relations at MongoDB and Chief Marketing Officer at Aiven, a data infrastructure scale up. Prior to joining MongoDB in 2021, Ian spent nearly eight years at AWS, joining the company in December 2013, before AWS had gained significant enterprise adoption in Europe. During his tenure at AWS, Ian held various roles in Developer Relations and Evangelism, and also served as Global Director, Worldwide Solutions Architecture for Startups.
