As someone who lives by the fact that ‘every minute spent organising is an hour earned’, disciplining data is a delight for me to work on! With over 15 years of experience as a Data Management professional, I am passionate about transforming data into a strategic asset for businesses. Nothing gives me greater gratification than taming the data warehouse and data lakes of the world that there’s a place for everything and everything is in its place! I love bringing order to data – it could be forming data domains, finding owners or fostering trust!

I have led and delivered successful data governance, data quality , data architecture and data protection programs for clients across various industries, using tools such as Collibra, Informatica Axon, Enterprise Data Catalog, Datahub, TIBCO Data Virtualization, etc.

My expertise in data management includes developing Data Management Strategy and establishing capabilities including writing policies, standards and processes, implementing metamodels, data catalogs, data governance workflows, business glossaries, data quality management, and report certifications for regulatory compliance and business adoption of a data driven culture.

As someone who has deep respect for comprehensive industry standard frameworks, regulations and technologies, I holistically adopt an approach of process, technology and last but not the least – ‘people’ to drive data governance and data management. Being a do-er, ‘strategic with hands-on’ is the position I would always love to be!

More recently I’ve taken up a new role as Senior Audit Manager carrying out risk based internal audit of data management controls across the data lifecycle. As with all other holistic views I enjoy, this role is expanding my exposure to how risk is managed across several impactful data products!
